What is DDHF?

DDHF stands for Daddy Daughter Hair Factory, a program introduced by Philippe Morgese and his daughter Emma Morgese. DDHF has become a network of fathers across the United States and now the world who offer free classes to other dads out there on how to manage, style, and care for their daughters hair while encouraging a healthy father and daughter bond.

What does DDHF Teach?

The dad and daughter duos at DDHF are hand picked by staff to teach the basics of hair care and braiding within each of their respective communities. These dad and daughter teams teach classes that go over brushing hair, detangling, maintenance, and basic braids and hair styles that work well to keep hair out of our girls faces all while encouraging a healthy father daughter relationship.

How does DDHF Operate?

DDHF runs entirely off of donations. Our goal is to provide classes at no cost to interested fathers of daughters. DDHF relies heavily off of donations of time and supplies from our current instructors, products from SoCozy, and event space donated by organizations like public libraries, parks and recreation, YMCA, etc. If you are interested in making a donation to DDHF please use the contact page and send us an email.

Be Part of Our Community

DDHF is a federally recognized not for profit organization engaged in teaching dads to manage their girls hair. We host classes all over the United States and even in Europe. We are always on the lookout for new dad and daughter duos to add to our team. If you are interested in helping teach a class in your area, check out our contact page and send us a message.
